We are looking for motivated Licensed Building Practitioners ​and ​Qualified ​Builders​ to join our Wellington team.

Switched On is a progressive, well established trades’ contracting company based in Porirua Wellington with over 30 years’ experience and proud of the rich heritage of a family owned company.

We are seeking builders (preferably LBP or qualified builders) to join the growing Wellington Construction team. 

Switched On operates in both Wellington and Christchurch with a proven performance record working on jobs in the residential, commercial, government and education sectors.  We are members of the Master Builders, Master Painters and Master Electrician Groups. 

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Licensed Building Practitioner or Building qualification is preferred but not essential
  • Enthusiasm,
  • Reliability
  • Excellent time management,
  • Good communication skills;
  • ability to think outside the square
  • Proven attention to detail 
  • NZ residency or a current work visa
  • Full current Manual Driver’s Licence 
  • Drug and Alcohol free history, Switched On has a working Drug and Alcohol Policy
  • A clean Police Record
